Meet the musicians of Boise Jazz, Inc.
Matt Grady
Matt Grady is a Boise-based drummer, percussionist, and educator. He currently serves as timpanist with the Opera Idaho Orchestra and was previously a member of the Boise Philharmonic and the Hawaii Symphony in Honolulu.
In addition to overseeing Boise Jazz, Inc., Matt operates Idaho Percussion Services, the Northwest’s only specialty percussion-rental outfit, and offers private percussion and drum lessons at Boise Drum Studio.
Tim Green
Tim Green is a pianist and bassist who has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada. He has recorded alongside jazz legends Ira Sullivan and Bill Carrothers and performed alongside many luminaries, including Delfeayo Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, and Marlene Rosenberg.
Tim leads groups in Boise and continues to teach private lessons and clinics at colleges and universities. His website is http://timgreenjazz.com/
